School of Rock Broomfield End Season Show (Grunge)

The mid-season show was the first time I was more excited than nervous, but the end season show was a great contrast to my first performance this year with the School of Rock Broomfield group as I first started taking lessons and working on performance. It was at the same location – Rails End Beer Company – but this time I felt much more confident and I can tell my vocals have gotten better as well.

I don’t have video of everything, but here are the highlights:

Outshined by Soundgarden

Solo to Soundgarden’s ‘Black Hole Sun’

Next season we’re working on folk music, and behind the scenes I’m working with Mark from Kardavox Academy to learn to fry scream and false chord scream.

I’m working on my next tune as well – a proggy Opeth-style song that pays tribute to their first album, Orchid.
